Essential Tips for a Stress-Free Trip
Tips For Booking A Ride
Booking your ride with NSNMT Transport is simple and straightforward when you follow these essential tips. Ensuring you have everything prepared ahead of time will help us provide the most efficient and seamless service possible. Follow these guidelines for a smooth booking experience:

Plan Ahead: Schedule your ride at least three business days before your appointment to guarantee availability and punctual service.

Gather Your Information: Make sure you have the following details ready before filling out the reservation form:

Your date of birth, full name, and phone number.

Your Medicare or Medicaid ID number (if applicable).

The name, address, and contact number of your doctor or facility.

Tips For Mileage Reimbursement
Health First Colorado members can take advantage of the Mileage Reimbursement benefit through NSNMT Transport. To ensure a smooth reimbursement process, follow these helpful tips:

Set Up Your Reimbursement Account
Begin by setting up your NSNMT reimbursement account. Call us at (720) 655-6111 during business hours to start this process.

Schedule Your Trip
Schedule your eligible trip at least three hours before your appointment by calling NSNMT. When you call, be sure to ask for your trip confirmation number and write it down for future reference.

Fill Out the Mileage Reimbursement Verification Form
Access the Mileage Reimbursement Verification Form on our website for either a single trip or a series of trips (subscription). Include your trip confirmation number on the form and bring it with you to your medical appointment.

Complete the Medical Provider Attestation Section
Ask someone from the medical facility to fill out the Medical Provider Attestation section. They can also complete the Medical Facility Information section, or you can do this yourself if needed.

Submit Your Form
After completing your trip, email the form to us at Main@nsnmtransport.com. Make sure all details are accurate to avoid delays in processing your reimbursement.

Can NSNMT assist with long-distance or out-of-state travel requests?Yes, if you need to receive treatment outside of your local service area, your travel, meals, and lodging may be covered by the Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) program.

How do I file a complaint if I’m unhappy with the service I received?If you’re not satisfied with the service provided, please report your concerns to NSNMT at (720) 655-6111 or email us at Main@nsnmtransport.com. We take all complaints seriously and will acknowledge them within two business days of receipt. What is Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT)?NEMT is a benefit offered to Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) members who do not have other means of transportation for important medical appointments. Please note, for medical emergencies, you should dial 911.

How do I schedule a ride?To schedule a ride, call the NSNMT call center or visit our website between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Make sure to schedule your trip at least three business days in advance, but you may book up to 90 days ahead.

What types of transportation can NSNMT provide?NSNMT offers a range of transportation services, including ambulatory, wheelchair-accessible, and advanced support services through our network of credentialed providers across the state. We can also coordinate with local public transport agencies and provide tickets if you prefer to use public transportation.

What if I can get my own ride?If a friend, family member, or volunteer can drive you to your appointment, Health First Colorado offers mileage reimbursement through NSNMT.

Who will take me to my appointment?When you schedule your trip with NSNMT, our agent will inform you which transportation provider will be assigned to your ride.

What should I know for the day of my trip?On the day of your trip, be ready at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Your driver will wait for up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time. Please bring any necessary equipment, such as a car seat, wheelchair, or walker, as our transportation providers do not supply special equipment.

What happens if my ride does not show up?If your driver hasn’t arrived at the scheduled time, please call NSNMT at (720) 655-6111.

Is NSNMT able to assist with urgent trip requests and hospital discharges?Yes, if you have a condition that could become an emergency if not treated promptly or if you need transportation following a hospital discharge, NSNMT can provide urgent transport services.
